About Us

CES Consulting has been creating and maintaining efficient, sustainable, and dependable buildings since 1999.

At CES Consulting, we partner with clients to design top-of-the-line electrical, lighting, and IT infrastructure solutions for buildings that benefit people and prioritize sustainability.

Our Vision

When founder Chris Haubeil formed CES in 1999, he recognized that traditional engineering firms were not set up to provide direct and holistic support to tech clients — and they rarely had the expertise to partner with clients all the way from the design stage through construction and maintenance. So, he set out to do things differently.

Today, with Mike Taylor and Jesse Mullins at the helm, we’re still honoring Chris’s vision. We don’t just provide critical input for the generation of detailed design and construction plans, we go all the way. We envision dependencies on other systems and larger campus/organizational goals while partnering directly with owners and other design, management, construction, and facilities teams to help ensure that everyone’s needs are met.

At CES Consulting, our projects achieve maximum consistency and maintainability while aligning with owners’ overarching and long-term goals.

Our Values

Connection

Connection is at the center of everything we do. We are all part of one large team — from end-user and real-estate clients to design partners, project managers, and construction professionals. By prioritizing connection and communication, we’re able to build optimal spaces that meet everyone’s needs.

Imagination

Our imagination enables us to remain flexible and adaptable in the face of changing needs, whether it’s new technology, shifting customer requirements, or unexpected circumstances. As industry leaders, our ability to think creatively and meet emergent priorities effectively is why we excel in our work.

Dependability

Because we are a team of dedicated industry experts, we know we can depend on each other. Our longevity in the industry and our wealth of experience not only enables us to work effectively with the larger project team, it’s why our customers can depend on us to deliver holistic solutions and adapt to changing priorities.

Efficiency

We’re dedicated to all forms of efficiency — from communication, enabling tight schedules, and providing value for cost, to designing buildings that are sustainable from both an environmental perspective and the perspective of user needs and maintenance. Our commitment to efficiency is how we’ve been able to provide effective client solutions for over two decades.

Foresight

Foresight is a holistic view of the past, present, and future — and it’s what enables us to develop the comprehensive solutions we’re known for. Drawing on lessons learned from past projects to inform future designs, we believe in bringing our customers the unique foresight that comes with deep experience.

  • "I’ve had the true fortune of teaming up with CES for the majority of my 15-year career in construction."

… we have worked parallel as vendors to the same clients and I can attest to what an asset they are to our clients as a whole, each project specifically, and oftentimes, myself and others as an incredible resource of knowledge. Electrical is not my specialty, but I feel confident that the scope will be covered and the correct questions will be asked and appropriately answered, having them on the team. I have also been on plenty of projects without CES, and these are the times I realize how spoiled I am that I get to work with them as much as I do.  A great group of professionals to partner with! Truly love working with your team!” – Ashlee Stedman, Senior Project Manager, Schuchart
